Hotel Santa Isabel - Toledo

Hotel overlooked courtyard and the room was well-designed. The location was great and stunning, close to shops, bars and restaurants and the interior design was excellent. I dined a short walk to the venue at Sante Fe.

The staff were not very friendly, didn't expect that coming.

The hotel was cute little with good value for money rooms. Actually everything was really good, my next choice again in Toledo.

There was a great selection of food for breakfast, it was savoury.

A building with history. Our room was tiny but it worked, and the view was stunning. Even nore stunning views from rooftop patio available to all guests. Location terrific.

Do not drive here in anything bigger than a subcompact/economy car - even a compact is too big for the street as well as the garage. No coffee or breakfast in hotel. (Available not far away but breakfast options limited).

Hotel Santa Isabel is located in the old/cultural/tourist center of Toledo, a very short walk to the cathedral and an easy walk to shopping, restaurants and other historical sites. Everything is walkable, The drive to the hotel was entertaining, but not too difficult (except for managing one corner that is greater than 90 degrees, up hill with a stick shift ... took two tries). Their parking lot had plenty of room and is locked. The staff was helpful and friendly, but if you want something specific, knowing Spanish is helpful. We enjoyed the experience because hotel and environment have character instead of being a cookie-cutter business type hotel. The internet connection was good.

Extremely clean and cosy room, underground parking the the hotel (10 euro). Access to the hotel via narrow streets of the old city happened with no troubles

Hotel Santa Isabel combined very well, both the original ancient building with all modern conviences without losing any of its charm. The staff we found very friendly and helpful at all times. We were also delighted with how easy Santa Isabel was to find on entering the old town of Toledo, well signposted and with the convience of its own underground parking. Ideally situated close to the beautiful cathederal and many restaurants/cafes. Although being situated in the town, very quiet at night, ensuring a good night's sleep! An altogether delightful experience for a midweek break, which we hope to repeat again soon.

We thought that maybe the large soft drinks machine, could have been situated elsewhere, other than in the entrance foyer, although convenient, it somewhat spoilt the lovely ambiance of first impressions on entering the hotel!!

Staff were extremely helphful and courteous. It was an ideal location for sight seeing.

Excellent location right next to the cathedral and very handy garage parking for 10 euros (when they could have easily gouged you for 20). Parking is near impossible in the old part of Toledo so this was great. The room was clean. Bathroom tiny, but still functional. Cool rooftop deck. No complaints!

Nothing really except maybe the small bathroom and the two separate twin beds, but for the price who cares? This happens all the time in Europe.

We enjoyed our stay here location is fantastic. Staff were always nice and helpful. Room was clean and basic. We paid for a standard room and asked to move as the room they first gave us had no window only a skylight and had a sloping roof and my husband being tall couldn't stand up straight in bathroom. They moved us across the hall to a room with a window thank goodness.

The only negative was the noise between rooms but thankfully we had quiet neighbors.

Ideal location in the old part of Toledo, 5 minutes walk to the Cathedral, 5 more to the main plaza. Comfortable rooms, at very reasonable price. Parking available (for a fee) in secure garage 50 feet away. Elevator, which one of our party needed as she had severe hip problem.

Very helpful reception staff. Hotel is in excellent location minutes from the Cathedral. Also has a roof terrace with a marvellous view to the Alcazar and Cathedral. Able to park our hire car in the hotel garage which is very useful as parking in Toledo is a nightmare. Altogether a very good value budget hotel.
